I have multiple VCRs, and this is my least favorite.
I am replacing the unit due to constant "Auto Tracking"
problems, SVHS recording problems, and VERY POOR picture quality. SVHS/ET recording doesn't even work on this VCR, though it will play SVHS/ET recordings, but with roll and stutter.
I bought this VCR at Best Buy because of price, but should have taken the time to order another brand. Both my Sharp and Kenwood VCRs are MUCH better at only slightly higher prices.
The unit occasionally turns itself off for no reason.
My 10 year old digital Kenwood is better.
My $110 brand of the month VCRs are better.
Don't get suckered in by the features.
They work VERY POORLY at best.
