Coraoccllo's Full Review: Arbor Mist Peach Chardonnay 750ml
Now, let's get this straight. I am anything but a wine snob. I despise wine snobs. I do not associate with wine snobs. But in this case, by golly, the wine snobs have a point.
But it is stretching a point to call this wine. It is flavored wine, adulterated wine, wine "improved" by the addition of something that tastes remarkably like Kool-Aid. I can't imagine anyone with taste buds liking it. I am not a person who snoots sweet wine--my favorite wine used to be Taylor Pink Catawba, if you can believe that--but this is ridiculous. No, it's beyond ridiculous. This tastes nothing like chardonnay and nothing like peach. It's alcoholic candy. Jolly Rancher with a kick. Why drink wine at all if you don't want it to taste like wine? Why not drink juice, Hi-C, Gatorade?
This IS a dangerous beverage to keep around in a house with children. I've never met a child who actually liked the taste of wine. THIS stuff, on the other hand...
I've had some bad wine in my time. I've even had Elvis wine. Believe me, when I say this is at the absolute bottom of the cask, I know what I'm talking about. But then, of course, it isn't really wine.
