Are you looking for a way to earn frequent flier miles for purchases without paying a horrendous annual fee? The Hilton Optima card may be an answer for you.
I have had my Hilton Optima card for over a year now, and couldn't be happier with it. I decided that if I was going to spend money on things anyway, I might as well get something back.
Things I love about this card:
1. NO ANNUAL FEE!
2. 2 Hilton Hhonors points for every dollar spent. More when they run promotions. Through June 30th, for example, you earn double points for purchases at gas stations and grocery stores.
3. Flexibility. The Hilton Hhonors program allows you to accumulate points toward free stays, but you can also convert them into frequent flier miles for many of the partner airlines at a conversion rate of 2 points for every mile.
4. Earn up to 60,000 points per year.
For information about the Hilton Hhonors program go to www.hilton.com and click on Hhonors. Between the card, qualifying stays, and other ways I have found to accumulate points, I managed to get 7 nights of hotel stays for free in London (which usually runs over $150 per night).
