I first started with USBANK in 1997. It was my first credit card also. WHAT A JOKE!!!
At first it was good. Free checking, a credit card, and overdraft protection. Well then problems started. All of a sudden money was being charged on my Visa, and money taken out of my checking account because I owed them money in overdraft. I never used that overdraft protection, and they said that I was. Well, that made me bounce a lot fo checks because they took that money out. So I "owed" them money. I tried time after time to call the 1-800#, but nothing was taken care of. After months of trying, I stopped calling. I talked to my lawyer and he told me that I have proof, and that they could not do anything to me because of that.
Well it is 2000, and I just received a letter saying that I owe them $400, and that if I do not pay then I will be directed to a collection agent. WHERE WERE YOU WHEN I TRIED CALLING!!! That is what I said when I called. They played dumb and have no record of my account there. They said that it was already directed to a collection agent.
All that I have to say is that this bank is a cheat, scam, and has nitwhits working for them. Customer Service is horrible, and I will never bank with them again.
