| plparsons's Full Review: Wells Fargo |
I would like to first start by saying that I am in my final days with Wells Fargo Financial and I thank GOD for that every moment I have. I will have completed a bit over 1 year and 4 months with them after my final day.
Where do I start.....this could be lengthy, but bear with me on this, and it will be worth your while. There are many key areas why I think Wells Fargo Financial is a joke and I believe that NO ONE should do business with them.
COSTS:
First, before you think you need to consolidate your bills, take a good look and see what you can afford. Wells Fargo Financial will make you "feel" like you "must" have their plan, whereas anyone with a plan in place can do what they place in front of someone.
Another part of costs is the rate and points. The average real estate refinance loan automatically includes FOUR POINTS to every loan. That is a joke, being that they tell us to "phrase" the points in a different way so that the customer doesn't oppose so much to the situation. For example, we can say that they are a "guaranteed portion of interest" or that it is a "prepaid finance charge." They tell us that allows someone to have the best price possible, but that also includes a BAD rate of at least 8% with an APR of 8.5% or more.
CUSTOMERS:
Basically Wells Fargo Financial people believe that all of their customers are retards and don't ever deserve to be treated like human beings. Continually every day they tell us to "tell the customer what they are going to do" and so forth. An example of this is when a customer is on the fence or doesn't want to do something even though we know we can help them, we have our manager standing behind us yelling to us to "tell" them that they are going to take an application on what we can do for them. Quality.
Another problem is that they never value customers. They use them as a means to a unit being sold. For example, when a customer agrees for an application to do something, we are told to push them to eventually get them in the office to sell them a "small loan" or something similar to "upsell" them to a real estate refinance. Typically the refinance is a joke and isn't great for the customer, but they try to "brainwash" us to think that the deal is good. Overall, Wells Fargo Financial is bad for anyone.
Plus the LIE to all of them. When a customer wants to move their mortgage to another company, they get treated like complete crap. They are lied to about the other company so they don't move their mortgage to the other company. They also hide payoffs for mortgages so that it delays the customer so they can try to "save" the payoff on the loan.
EMPLOYMENT/MANAGEMENT:
For anyone who thinks they want to work for Wells Fargo Financial, think again! They "pull" you in, making you think that you're going to make "big money" with the kind of bonuses that you can get. Realistically, you don't make jack in bonuses unless you enjoy lying and treating customers like crap. That's how everyone in the company gets promoted and moved up.
Also, the management sucks. All they do is change the goals just about every day. Nobody is ever around to help anyone succeed. The branch managers are typically out of the office at least every day by 2pm or something. They say that they want someone to succeed, but it's a joke.
Overall, Wells Fargo Financial is a joke. I moved to a bank where they treat people as human beings and value customer relationships. If someone really has a question about this, please let me know.
