THIS GAME IS FOR YOU!!!
You, the fan of the old school giant robot anime. This game is a parody of giant robot anime from the 70's and beyond, all in 3-D. The character designs are great and you'll have such a time pointing out who the robots are supposed to be parodies of. There's a veritech, a mobile suit, even a magical girl makes an appearance. You've got to try the story mode, it's such a riot. Before every match there's dialogue between the pilots of the robots....and it's so cheesy. If you've seen this kind of anime you won't be able to stop laughing. It's like Gekiganger 3. It's even got a catchy upbeat theme song, and "we'll be right back" eyecatches.
The control is nice and easy to get used to. Just 4 buttons. Press the directional pad in diffrent directions and you've got another move. The amount of weaponry these robots have will not disappoint. Capcom aren't known for doing good 3-D fighters, but this is one of the better ones they've had so far.
Another thing this game has got going for it is, it's actually got secrets in it. You can watch the anime intro (no, there is no actual anime like it says on the back of the box), get new characters and mini games too...trouble is it's that annoying "buying secrets" feature that Capcom has started using in recent games like Capcom vs. SNK. It may take forever to get them.
Still, this is a fun (and funny) game and all fans of anime should check it out.
