darksim6's Full Review: Tech Romancer for Dreamcast
Well, picking up Tech Romancer, I was already expecting another great fighter from those guys at Capcom. But as soon as this game is switched on, It draws you in with awesome music and nostalgia, and it wont let you go. Ever. For any fan of anime, they will immediately eat this one up. Complete with subtitled Japanese and the "wackiness" factor, this game will make you laugh and cry at the characters wily exploits. And this is one feature I must tell everyone about: Unlike all other fighting games I have played before, This one actually make you feel like the characters have a reason to fight, a cause to fight for. (play Shadow Red's story mode, and you cant argue with me.) Yet another amazing feature is the branching storylines, with many different endings for each character. This provides unlimited replay value, because it will take awhile to access every ending. Anyone whose a fan of the fighting genre, is in for a treat with this one.
