Interesting game, bad controls.

Interstate '76 has a great idea behind it --- shoot up other cars while driving on the desolate highways of "Somewhere in the Southwest". As Groove Champion, with your sidekick Taurus, you eat up the dirt while shooting up "creepers". The graphics are great, however the controls really fall short on this game. The car is difficult to maneuver and the weapons are equally difficult. After playing a few levels I got extremely frustrated with the controls, so unless you have a really good joystick I warn you about the controls. Besides that, the game is enjoyable. It does not have much replayability though.
