First off, I would like to say that this game is a total disappointment. I bought this game a couple of years ago because of a demo I had played. It was the 1st wrestling game I had ever played. Now I have all of the WWF games and this on is just disgusting.
The control engine is one thing. You can pull off moves fairly easy but once you are down, if you play a human opponent, you will more than likely never get back on the attack. The moves are about the same power wise. Some moves take more power away than others but they tend to stun the guy about every other move. It doesn't matter what you do, it could be a powerbomb or a suplex, it just doesn't matter. As for Finishing moves, you have virtually no chance of winning after it is done to you. The disadvantage for human players, there is no way on the game to learn your finishing move and they are so complicated you would never guess it.
Yet another thing is the lack of move variety. Characters have 2 or 3 trademark moves and the rest is all just basic moves that everyone can do. It also lacked Create a player mode. That would have made the game a little better.
One good thing about the game is there are so many hidden characters. However, they managed to ruin that by just having the hidden characters copy other peoples moves and use them as their own. Some real commentary would have been nice also. They have absolutely no talking, just stupid music going on all the time. I say, forget this game, there are much better wrestling games out there.
