I got Smack down the day it came out, and it impressed the hell out of me! With great graphics, fast frame rate, and smooth skin tones, this game delivers!
This game has all the major superstars of the WWF! Wait, no it doesnt! The game lacks all three members of TOO COOL. But with that exception, this game is the best Playstation Wrestling game to date! This game offers more modes of play then that in Wrestlemainia 2000. From tag team, to falls anywhere, even special guest referee! But one of the best modes is hardcore or falls anywhere. In these modes you are able to go to anywhere in the building! From the kitchen, to parking lot! With weapons up the wazoo this games got the greates selection of weapons to date. Form Bats, streatchers, chairs, even shopping carts are availible! But sorry hardcore blood thirsty fans, no blood.
The season mode is the game option that sends this game to the top! Choose a wrestler, and take him through years and years of WWF matches and events! Make friends, enemies, earn title shots, and fight grudge matches. This game allows you to do almost anything!
But the biggets turn off of this game is the horrible create a player. WIth 2 origianl faces to choose from (the others are all real WWF superstars heads) and unable to change anything about the faces, realy gets discouraging! But not everything is terrible, about it, you can choose everything from how he fights to how he thinks!
Overall i think this game is the best for Playstaition with all the kinks out of the other Playstation games like attitude, warzone, this game has very fast gamplay and is fun over all!
