jcgraphics's Full Review: SSX Tricky for PlayStation 2
You're asking yourself.. is this game worth buying? Is it fun and worth my time?
My friend recently purchased this game and let me borrow it for a few days. I had played the earlier version of ssx and was somewhat satisfied with it. As soon as I heard the music on ssx tricky, the improvement was obvious. Not only is the music great, but there are many unique characters to choose from. The unique characters and their "tricky" moves make the game a lot more fun and interesting.
While playing, my character was able to gain a lot of air and did great moves. My son and I enjoyed the fun music and played for hours.
My husband on the other hand, also enjoyed the game but did not agree with me. I want to purchase this game vs. he doesn't. He played the game and beat it farely quickly. To him, the game doesn't have much re-play value. I enjoy racing games and snowboarding games as well.. I disagreed with him. I think.. if you like these types of games.. you'll enjoy this one even more than ssx. Once you've played ssx tricky.. you won't want the old ssx anymore!
