MadTV has to be the funniest show on the air currently. Fox delivers an amazing hour-long skit show, in the tradition of SNL and In Living Color, that is filled not only with good writing but also hilarious comedians.
With such characters as these... how can MadTV go wrong? Antonia, a rather slow young lady obsessed with her cat C.C.; Ms. Swan, a tiny asian woman who can annoy a fence post to get her way; Stuart, a far too weird young man played by a six-foot tall man; and numerous impersonations such as Will Sasso doing Stephen Segal and Phil LaMarr (famous for his role as "Marvin" in the movie Pulp Fiction) as Michael Jackson. Every show has been a riot which my wife, myself and our friends often gather to watch on Saturday night.
The show does sometimes go a little far in the "toilet humor" department, so it isn't always for young children, but with a time slot of 10pm on Saturday night, most parents shouldn't have too much of a problem shielding them. For anyone older, however, this show is a definate must see for new, original comedy.
