Consumer Reports is a comprehensive review of thousands of products put to an unbiased test by the labs of Consumer Reports magazine. The magazine does not accept outside advertising in order to remain 100% unbiased. Consumer Reports does poll their readers in order to obtain a market rating.
The magazine focus on various items and product lines. It usually does reviews of items that are manufactured by a number of companies and rates each in comparison to their competition. They compare the products on an even scale, not comparing apples to oranges as many people and some magazines do.
