I just started reading Log Home Design Ideas about a year ago and each issue gets better than the next. Every issue seems to cover some important aspect of buying a log home. The have very informative articles that are not too technical. The photography is second to none. The magazine regularly features log homes people can afford. Where some of the other magazines feature only 5,000+ square foot homes, Log Home Design Ideas features more practical homes. Every issue has plenty of color floorplans with pictures. They also have a large section dedicated to log home furniture and lighting. The builder directory in the back is a great reference guide for locating a builder in your area.
