this is one of the best albums ever.Marvin Gaye was so raw&honest on this album.the title cut Let's get it on is a straight up blues song.a lot of feeling of just letting yourself go&feel the pleasure.very open,but done with taste.come get to this is also done in the same style.it even sounds better live.the musicianship on this album as is the case with his 70's albums is very strong.good solid production&talent all over this set.distant lover just blows you away with the force he uses to sing with.the man was so gifted in so many ways.one of a kind genius.again distant lover is another song done live just is amazing.you sure love to ball is very bold for it's time period.but it is very rich in quality.great musical arrangement.i miss the greatness that he showed the world.there is a void since he left us.but his gift will always remain with us.material such as this will forever be treasured.
