A Step By Step guide to My Obsession [Guilty Pleasures WriteOff]
by manky | Jul 23 '01
Pros: most girls from the late eighties can relate, mega memories involved, fun and lighthearted music
Cons: not in line with current (post millennium) boy-band fads, some lyrics shocked me when attentive

Thanks for the company on this side of insanity. (Reply to this comment)

I can’t believe someone else enjoy(s) this album. I still have this in my collection and don’t mind the numerous fits of laughter it gets from people checking out my collection.

p.s. I remember playing this tape on my birthday back in middle school. I was listening to “happy birthday” and the tape popped. My sister laughed at me uncontrollably; needless to say, I walked to the mall and purchased my first CD, so that I wouldn’t have to go thru that again! I played “happy birthday” 7 times in a row just to drive her crazy. And also because I was amused that with CDs, you could rewind a song instantly!

I have to say that this girl from the late 80's didn't like New Kids. Never. I remember being in Junior High and being one of the only girls who didn't want anything to do with the goofy guys from Baaastin. Well, anyway...

Great job!

Wow, there's New Kids fans all over the place... Did you know that Jonathon Knight recently appeared on Oprah? For years he's been suffering with panic disorder and it started back when he was touring. It was a huge effort just for him to leave the house. Normally, I really don't like Oprah, but this one was really interesting. Great review, though.
