Hi there,
I stumbled across your review today while randomly trying to figure out which game I remember Vultan's Theme being used in.
I saw that you said Rygar, which I haven't heard of, and when you described killing insects with grappling hooks, I thought that can't be right, I remember flying a spaceship and the song would come on when the ship became super powered!
Well, I was finally able to find the game, and it's called Vanguard. A space shooter game from 1981. In addition, I think I also heard a Star Trek theme in the beginning.

I also watched a video of Rygar to see if it was in two games, but while I heard similarities, it wasn't as blatant as Vanguard.
Your reviews are excellent by the way. I really enjoy them.
