When I first heard Dido's voice, it was in Eminem's video "Stanley". I thought it was his song that I liked, but I later discovered that I just liked the parts where Dido sang. Within a week or so of watching her video "Thank You", I went out and bought Dido's debut album, No Angel . I hadn't heard any of the other songs on the CD, but once I did, they were contagious. My favorites are: "Here With Me", "Hunter", "Thank You", and "I'm No Angel".
For the most part, this is an easy listening CD. If you're looking for a break from rap and grunge, listen to Dido. She's basically a mix between Sarah McLaughlin and Sinead O'Connor and a WONDERFUL voice! The lyrics make sense and come from the heart.
I bought this CD for $14.99. There are 11 tracks plus one bonus. In addition to the previously mentioned songs, there are: "Don't Think of Me", "My Lover's Gone", "All You Want", "Honestly OK", "Slide", "Isobel", "My Life", and "Take My Hand" (bonus track).
