i find it very intriguing indeed! not sure whether it's four or five stars yet - but i'll give it more time... it's actually far removed from what i expected having read your review. but not any less great!

I also bought this today. Actually, a couple of days ago, solely on the basis of this review. Well, and Atchesonate's, to be fair.
But seriously, thanks for the heads up. On a couple of spins, yup, rock is not dead...

i will only re-iterate jer, by saying that it's _great_ to have you back in the music section again, after a lenghty hiatus and a couple of diversions to the writer's corner.
and... you review something that sounds damn interesting to me. this is up there on "ok computer" levels? okay, i gotta look for it...
