dana1234's Full Review: Blue Skies by Diana DeGarmo
In a world of digitized pop and lip synching this young lady is a breath of fresh air! She has some amazing pipes and her debut album is solid.
She has songs that are clearly geared to several different genres:
She has 3 songs Then I Woke Up, A Boy Like You, and The Difference in Me that are targeted more to the tween/teen audience.
She has an amazing song written by the legendary David Foster called on Go On And Cry that shows off her powerful, amazing range.
There are 3 tracks that are very pop radio friendly: her first single Emotional, Cardboard Castles, All I Never Wanted.
Diana even does a rock song in Til You Want Me. The song Dream, Dream, Dream reminds me of a country pop song.
The album also includes 2 of the tracks off her #1 single: Dreams and Don't Cry Out Loud.
This is far and away one of the best albums I've heard in years with something for everyone and a voice that will not soon be forgotten.
