This movie is one of my all time favorites. It really teaches great lessons that I feel everyone can benefit from.
This acting is great. Judd Nelson as the bad boy, Molly Ringwold as the rich girl, Emilo as the jock, Anthony Micheal Hall and the brain and Ally as the strange girl, really give great performances.
The storyline is about teenagers in Saturday detention and they are all very different people who are stuck together for the day and how they interact with eachother and the predjuiced that they faced with eachothers type of people.
This movie really shows that no matter what kind of crowd you hang around with, people are people and have their own personalities, likes and dislikes that may or may not be what there crowd thinks that they should be, and it shows that these social differences can be put aside and they can learn to live with eachother and even become friends.
I would highly recommend this movie for teenagers, so they can realize that everyone is a person and should be looked upon as such.
Now if the world could only learn the lessons that these people learned in this movie
