Great job on the review, but it's sad to say, I don't even remember hearing about this one when it was released. I must have been off the radar at that point, and I always make it a point to pay attention to what's coming out. When was this released? Wow, there were five Dirty Harry movies??? Shows what an Eastwood fan I am.

Jack, bud, thanks so much for your comment! I would really prefer not to skewer a movie with Eastwood but this film was begging for it. I may have been a little harsh and dinged it a star, but you know, I expect a lot from Clint. And, we must never forget that benchmark of the gritty cop genre, "Sharky's Machine." "Dirty Harry" itself just barely lives up to that one! Just wish more people would see it.
