...a cracker-jack war movie, with no women, except for Lulubelle, and the will to win.
I watched it twice and each time I could feel the heat and grit, and determination showing acroos Bogart's face.
Everyone should know this movie.

I like the scene where Gunn's driver is explaining to their passengers that Sgt. Gunn is an old horse cavalry soldier. A very fitting tribute and link to Armor's antecedents in the Cav.

I completely agree with you.
I recently watched this movie, and enjoyed every minute. It's a real shame that movies like this aren't made these days.

I agree totally, George! This film should be better known. It's better than the remake with James Belushi. I think of Bogey's original whenever I visit the Patton Musueum at Fort Knox, Ky. --- they have a tank just like it there.
