kuiipo's Full Review: Home Alone 2: Lost in New York
Plot Details: This opinion reveals major details about the movie's plot.
Maculay Culkin is alone again, but in New York City. He has to use his father's credit card in order to get a place to stay in, but later on, gets into trouble which mean that he had to start running! And always, one step ahead!
He finds himself alone in a very large city that he is not even familiar with. He has to now find ways to support himself. It is the Christmas Holidays once again and he has to find someone who he can talk to this time.
He finds a homeless woman who is seen feeding her pidgeons on a park bench and befriends her. She is pleasant enough, but seems somewhat paranoid. Of course, what do you expect? Alot of homeless people have seen alot in their lives living on the very mean streets. You do have to be tough and able to live your life, especially without the benefit of a roof over your head. This woman sure did and she is a tough one!
Those two crooks are zeroing in on the kid and now, it is up to him to do something that will save him and the homeless woman took care of these SOB's! Nice job woman, you deserve a gold medal for your bravery!
The director of this movie again, did a very superb job of directing this movie. No flaws and everyone did their performances just as good as the first movie. I like that!
The setting again, was perfect! Snow in New York City is usually the typical winter weather and that is what is expected.
If you have not seen this second movie, do see it. It's just as good as the first movie. All video stores do carry this.
