Let's hope McGregor sees the light. Boyle is making something called THE SUNSHINE PROJECT, at the moment.
I've met a couple of these people. For all of Boyle's MILLIONS, they're a tough bunch.
WORST DIRECTOR IN THE WORLD? Spielberg? Luhrmann? Perhaps there should be a new Academy Award category!
Regards.

Great Review... (Reply to this comment)

This is one of my all-time favorite films.
I want to make a correction that it was a football (soccer) tape, not hockey tape Renton switched.
I remember when this film was coming out in the U.S. and it was widely misunderstood as a full-blown comedy but it wasn't really one. More of a black comedy about heroin. Especially which was the culture at the time of the mid-90s in the U.K.
It was a realistic film and I heard that Boyle wants to make a sequel right now where the focus is more on Sick Boy. The only problem is that everyone wants to do the film but Ewan McGregor who had a falling with Boyle over not casting him in The Beach (which I didn't think was great). I think McGregor really needs to work with Boyle, especially since some of his recent films weren't very good including one with the WORST DIRECTOR IN THE WORLD!!
