I saw this movie after all the hype and whistles that it was such an epic of a movie. Something we would want to see over and over, but not me. I thought it was a waste of time. As a romance film it left lot to be desired. A spoiled young rich girl, and a poor energetic young boy, may set some hearts fluttering, but unrealistic of the times. The movie needed some love scenes to keep our young people of today interested.
The tragedy of this whole story, seemed to be played as an after thought.
The scenes of all these people in the water, was gruesome. Knowing so many died, they had to make some story as to why some were saved, and how they were saved. These were chilling scenes, also knowing ahead of time that the break up of the ship was all computer animated. I guess that is the way of making movies today.
The only part I cared about was the story within the story. The finding of the pictures was a little far fetched, it all became a blurr. I guess I was expecting so much, because of all the great reviews. Even people I knew recommended it, and saw it more than once. That I can not understand. But to each his own. WE ALL HAVE OUR VIEWS, AND THAT IS THE WAY OF THE WORLD!!!!
