I saw this movie for the same reason that anyone would when they see a preview and it looks interesting. Tom Hanks usually plays in good movies so i decided to give it a shot. I'm so very glad that i did! I cried so much on this movie! Tom Hanks plays a jail guard for the men who are on death row, which is known as the green mile. It would normally be called the last mile, but is the green mile because of the color of the floor. this movie will take you on an unforgetable journey where you will learn what a true friendship is and witness a beautiful miracle that will change the lives of many. One prisoner is john cofee. (like the drink, only not spelled the same, as he will say) He holds a power to heal and is convicted of killing two little girls. He is one of God's greatest miracles. He teaches everyone at the jail the true meaning of love, not romantic but the love you should have for people. This movie has a delightful list of character including a small yet talented little mouse. I will not say too much more about the plot, it's a movie that someone has to experience on their own. I don't know of any other movie like this one, a movie like this happens only once, all the rest are only a cheap immatation.
