Like all teen movies this one is a lot of fun and has a happy ending but it also isn't very deep and the acting leaves room for improvement. It isn't meant to be the kind of movie that makes you think or brings on some deep emotions. It is just a feel good show. Watch the movie, enjoy the laughs, and be glad that the ending is good.

Paul Tannek, played by Jason Biggs, is on his way to college. He hasn't been far from the farm most of his life however and so he really doesn't know how to make it in the world of a college freshman. He soon finds that he is left out of the action and is having a hard time making friends. His roommates don't like him, no one talks to him, and just when he thinks that things can't ever get better he lands a date.

Dora, played by Mena Suvari, is a student who is having an affair with one of the professors and is a struggling waitress at a strip club. She finds herself in a bit of trouble but along the way Paul is there to be her friend and hopefully more.

In the end the two get together and despite all odds it seems they will have a happy ending.

The movie is rated PG-13 and I would recommend that no one younger than 13 years old see the movie. There are a few sexually explicit moments in the movie along with the mention of many drugs. So it isn't suitable for most children. I don't think that my child would watch it at the age of 13 either, it is more suitable for someone a little older than that.
