From the very beginning I identified with Bridget Jones, eventhought I cam a guy. Right away she starts talking about how for her New Years resolution, she is going to stop dating the same kind of guy that she always dates. She does this as she is driving towards her mom and dads for a New Years party. The movie shows how difficult that is for her to do, and how she learns to love herself.

I am not going to give anymore details about the movie, as I do not want to ruin anything for anyone. I am just going to say that I identified with this movie because for so long I have dated the wrong person, thinking they were the right person. I know that I big reason is I am divorced, and I miss being in love. I miss having someone to share a home with. I want someone in my life who will be good to me and my son, as he is the most important thing in my life. Ok, enough of that, this is not a personal add. My point is my "wanting" love has kept me from focusing on what I "need". I have realized that I need to focus my life on God, through His only son Jesus. By doing that I am becomming the best dad that I can be to my son. Plus, I am learing more and more to love myself for who I am.

If you see this movie, or just read this review, ask your self this: What have I wanted so bad in my life that I feel into bad habbits going after it? Think about it, this does not just cover relationships, but going after certain jobs, finding hobbies, ect... Think about it and make a comment about it.
