I think Rupert Everett was the weakest link in this insipid mess of Wilde's play. Your prayer was answered long before you made it (in 1952) with a far superior adaptation that trusts the play to be entertaining without shots of knights, tattoos, and can-can dancers. 		Jul 07 '02
