Pros: Beatutiful breathing taking state park.

Cons: can get crowded if you dont go at the right time of year

The Bottom Line: This is a great place to spend with family, you can get away from the world & be in the hills of Texas. I love Garner & so will you.

Last Summer we went to visit this beautiful state park. Ther are oh so many things to do here. There is the sparkling clear Frio river that flows swiftly through out the park. and at one point there is a swimming Damm, Where there is a swinging rope, and several cliffs that you can jump in the crystal clear water. Every night from about 6 to 10 all of the kids staying in the park go up to the pavillion to two step the night away. There is also a small town near bye with great shopping. All in All I recommend this place to the fullest, we go everyyear and so should you.
