Greg_Kool's Full Review: Absolut Vodka Citron - 1 liter
As the name suggests, a citrus flavor is dominant in Absolut Citron, Primarily lemon. Absout is a big name in vodkas and does a spectacular job with it's Citron.
Absolut Citron goes best with anything you would add lemon to. Iced tea and lemonade with Citron added is wonderful. Long Island Iced teas can benefit from Citron as well. As with any vodka, Citron does not freeze at the same temperature as water and can be left in the freezer and tastes best at very low temperatures. When frozen Citron can be enjoyed straight even by those not accustomed.
When I can afford it, Citron is on the top of my spirits list. Absolut is a mid shelf grade spirit and can be costly. Though I believe that it is worth every cent.
It's easy to point out flaws in a spirit and harder to describe just what exactly it is that can make something so good and one taste is worth a thousand words, so I would like to just simply say, "give Absolut Citron a try."
