Somewhat Fruity, but overall an excellent choice

Pros: Great as a deodorizing spray, smells pretty good overall
Cons: Not all that strong, so hard to smell unless really close
The Bottom Line: While Kilo is an excellent body spray that covers any body odor, it's not all that strong if you are hoping to be noticed.

| biscuitfarmer's Full Review: Axe Deodorant Bodyspray Kilo 4oz for Men |
I have been a long time user of Axe and essentially body sprays in general. I find that sometimes deodorant, just doesn't do it all of the time. And if you are a man, you know what I'm talking about. We just have some horrible body odors, that you just can't cover up by putting deodorant all over our bodies.
Axe has been forever a part of my life ever since going through basic training. We used to all spray this stuff on in such heavy doses, that our dormitory smelled like an Axe factory every time we got the opportunity to take a shower. I don't think that the smell ever went away, and when I got out of basic, I swear, I couldn't use the stuff for the longest time. But, it's been a while now, and I love it all over again.
Kilo isn't normally the body spray that I use, however, I do use it just to mix up the fragrances a little bit every now and then. It's smell is a lot different than that of other body sprays out there, so I like it's unique smell.
Kilo in general
Kilo body spray is a great spray, that is somewhat fruity at first, but is definitely more than manly enough for any male consumer. It has a somewhat weak scent that doesn't last as long as products such as Phoenix and Tsunami, however, it lasts long enough to give a great impression if you are to go out on a date. I would recommend using it as a body spray along with it's roll on deodorant, as that lasts quite a bit better and is a great compliment to the spray.
Ingredients
SD alcohol, 40-B9Alcohol Denat), Butane, Hydrofluorocarbon 152A, Fragrance (Parfum), Isopropyl Myristate
How the ladies like it???
Kilo is one of those smells that my wife does like quite a bit. It isn't all that strong, so she generally doesn't notice that I'm wearing it, however, it the more intimate moments, she can definitely smell it. I normally spray my under garments with it, let them sit, and then put them on, so she usually smells it when she does the laundry. And of course as soon as she smells it, she thinks about me and the more intimate moments, because she only smells it when we are extremely close. So, I guess that's a good thing.
Personal Warnings
DO NOT, and I must repeat, DO NOT put this under your arms if you for some reason have cut yourself or anything of that nature. This goes for pretty much anywhere on your body, including places that you just got pierced or anything like that. This stuff BURNS like crazy, and even in areas that you just shaved, you can definitely feel the alcohol in it burning through your skin. Personally, I love the smell, but if you use too much, it can definitely cause you a little bit of pain. While the pain is generally very shortlived, I can only imagine how bad it would feel if you had some really bad sunburn... ouch!
As a deodorant
This is definitely not the product that you want as a deodorant. It doesn't really work very well, and the smell is somewhat short lived. If you want to use it for the temporary covering up of odors, Axe is more than adequate, however, a more long term solution, definitely will not work. You'll notice that the smell is virtually gone after about 8 hours or after a good workout. You can pretty much smell your body odor through the spray the entire time.
As a body spray
As a body spray, which is really the intended purpose of the product anyway, it's great. It covers up the mild smells that your body creates, outside of your armpits. I don't recommend spraying it down on your crotchal regions, however, if you don't have any baby powder available, this will do the trick to cover up any smells that you need to eliminate fairly quickly. However, it does burn on certain man parts, so be gentle with it's use. The Kilo spray is a lot calmer of a spray than a lot of the other Axe body sprays, however, it does do it's job of eliminating the odor, even if it isn't all that horribly noticeable.
Final Thoughts
Axe is one of the best body spray products out there. If you are planning on using it for a body spray that just compliments your deodorant, this is definitely the product for you. However, if you are thinking that you should use this in order to eliminate your body odor altogether, and use it under your arms, it's not going to work. There's no anti-perspirant in this product, so you are going to still sweat from your armpits, and you are still going to produce odor, which over time will eliminate the smell of the Axe product.
Kilo in general is a well rounded deodorizing body spray. It's more than strong enough to eliminate body odors, while not being overpowering. The only problem that I have found is that it's not really strong enough to be noticed if that's what you're looking to do. My wife really only notices that I am even wearing it, when we're hugging, kissing, or essentially in really close proximity to each other. She smells it while we're sleeping if I don't take a shower before bed, but that's about it.
