Pros: Comes with a filter screen, makes women more attractive
Cons: Who are you kidding? It tastes terrible!
The Bottom Line: I recommend Bacardi 151 to anyone who can handle the taste and is eager to get blind, stinking drunk. With such power, also comes bad taste.

| mikep850's Full Review: Bacardi 151 Rum |
Any alcohol that has a built in filter screen to slow the pouring speed can not be delightful. The people that made Bacardi 151 obviously did not say to themselves, "let's make a great tasting rum." They said, "Let's make something that will make the consumers sloppy in a heart beat."
Having been a college student in the great land of East Lansing, I have seen 151 many times being abused by people. It doesn't say "151" on the bottle because it sounds like a cool name, it really is 151 proof. That's about twice the amount of your regular rum's. I have seen people 6'4, 200 plus pounds, take a quarter to half of a fifth in a night, and wake up feeling like garbage in a place far from their home. The bottom line is, BACARDI 151 MESSES YOU UP.
People can't really expect something that is highly flammable, and 151 proof to taste good. You can not make this stuff taste good, all you can do is disguise it. Ruby Red Squirt works very well, along with Dr. Pepper. As chasers, or if you choose to mix. If you mix, it might be a good idea to go easy on the Bacardi.
The whole point of Bacardi 151 is to get its consumers mad, stinking, drunk. It does not taste good, and the taste can not be hidden. When you drink it, have a decent meal before you start, take plenty of Ruby Red Squirt and Dr. Pepper, and keep in mind it does not taste good, but it will get the best of you. If you want to have a drink that taste good, pour yourself a wine cooler with the rest of the ladies.
