Pros: Good size, decent volume, Cambridge name
Cons: You might actually be paying for the name instead of the speaker
The Bottom Line: If you are strapped for cash and want a CSW center speaker, grab this one. If not, go a couple steps up.

... and it is a dumb reason - it had the same exact size "footprint" as my Sony VCR. How neat is that?
Well, I soon found out how neat it was. It's important to note that before this speaker, I had no center channel at all - I just listened to my Yamaha stereo in "stereo" mode. I spent all my money on my receiver and CD player.
So, I began to look around for a value center channel speaker. A nice salesman at Cambridge Soundworks talked me into this speaker plus 30$ in cables... my bad.
So I got it home and hooked it up. I didn't think it was that bad. But I just notice a lot more center channels with a better response and reproduction around for around the same cost... especially if you buy used.
I am going to stick with this speaker. Even if I did find another one, not too many companies offer the 10 year warranty that Cambridge does. And even though the cones are cheap, I cannot manage to blow them - the speaker is built decent.
