Pros: Great unit, cdr, cdrw, mp3 playback. Incredibly stable cd playback.
Cons: none.
The Bottom Line: This unit is built very well and has tons of software options for the listener. It has better sound quality than most units of similar cost.

| stevehauser's Full Review: Pioneer DEH-P7400 Car CD/ MP3 Player |
I had an Aiwa CD receiver in my 1997 Geo Tracker... this Aiwa was NOT a cheap unit - I bought it from Crutchfield and it was $175. The problem(s) I had with this unit ranged from the constant mistracking during CD playback (lets face it, the Geo Tracker is not the smoothest riding vehicle!) to the poor sound quality of the amp to the poor radio reception! I'm happy to say I installed this Pioneer 7400MP and ALL those problems have been resolved! The MOSFET power offers up far superior sound... the tuner gets stations that were only static on the Aiwa and yesterday I hit a pot hole that almost made my bumper come off... the 7400 DID NOT MISTRACK! I could not be happier. I don't see the long seek delays that someone else wrote about here... I put in my MP3 and it plays pretty quickly. I'm very happy with this unit.
