Scents to match the man!!!
My buddy, Marshall Mitchell, whom I've mentioned in my writings countless times (and who will turn 67 this Friday!!! Anyone reading this who happens to be close to the Wal-Mart Supercenter in the Franklin, IN area this week should approach "Greeter Marshall" with Happy Birthday wishes and tell him that AJ sent them!!!) used to wear the same kind of aftershave day after day.
I can't think off-hand what brand it was (though it wasn't anything fancy like what you're describing!), and I don't know if he wears the same type now or not (though I wouldn't be surprised if he did, as it really smells great on him!), but I'll tell you something that I do remember.
There was generally a scent of it in his apartment most of the time.
One time, I had to use the bathroom there, and I happened to notice his storage shelves were well-stocked with this aftershave.
I mean, the guy must have made a run for the store the minute it went on sale and bought the store out!
Hey! We're also talking about a guy here who liked to save money whenever possible, so why not!?! LOLOLOLOL
But it was still pretty amusing to see his shelf space nearly 100% taken up by bottles and bottles of this product!!!
Who knows!?! Maybe, he owned stock in the company!
Anyway, it certainly smelled good on him!

I can smell it from here! You describe it so brilliantly! I'll have to consider it for my woodsy man. I just gave him Tommy for Christmas and I adore it--maybe he'll get this for Valentine's! *Wink*
