The sound and picture quality that this player gives are excellent. The on-screen menu features are easy to use and very informative. I have this hooked up to a Sony STR-DE545 receiver and Sony VAE315 and SONY SS-MB215 speakers.
The Sony DVP-C670D I bought never worked with the remote and had tough time making it work from the unit with no remote. Got a replacement and within a week skips, freezes and most of the time fails to recognize the DVD/CD even with new DVD/CD. If it recognizes after sometime comes-up with C13:00 in the display - the manual instructs to clean the disk, even with new DVD/CD. Will settle for a refund and will buy other model.
I like Sony products and I still like my Sony STR-DE545 receiver and Sony VAE315 and SONY SS-MB215 speakers as they are excellent but I got Sony DVP-C670D POOR quality DVD player TWICE !!
