It's now 2006, almost 2007, and my P1120 is still the best small laptop that money could have bought me. I'm currently using it, and being a network engineer it gets quite a bit of use diagnosing and setting up networks and devices. Of course the speed is not as good as one would expect from a new laptop in 2006, but so what! I'd rather have the portability and full-size pc-card slot anyday. Of particular importance is the touch screen. It's wonderfully useful, and quite nice to look at as well. You can get one now online (used) for less than $600, and extended batteries are running around $70 including shipping. It can be useful even today if you can stand to wait a few seconds for apps to load. Mounts in cars VERY easily since it is so small, and touchscreens bode well to mobile uses!
