The Bottom Line: Don't buy it. If you want a flat panel plasma tv, just bite the bullet and buy panasonic or sony.

Yes, the price is low and it seems a great deal. BUT. The quality of the picture was not up to what we were looking for in such an expensive purchase. Later research led us to put the fault of this with the quality of the blacks - they weren't black enough and therefore the depth of the image suffered.
The biggest problem has been our experience with the service end of Gateway. When we purchased this we were told we could try it out at home and, if not satisfied for ANY reason, could return it to the store for a full refund. What they did NOT tell us about was the $350 restocking fee and that we could NOT return it to the store. It has now been one month since the product was picked up and our credit card has yet to be credited with any amount and no amount of explanation has resulted in the credit or reduction of the "restocking fee".
