alexio's Full Review: Logitech Harmony® 659 LCD Remote Control
Ive looked into the universal remote field after my girlfriend complained that she cant figure out how to listen to the music or play the movie in my wired AV setup. Cant blame her. It takes 3-4 remotes to do that.
After Ive got Harmony 659, all other remotes went in the drawer. Indeed, this remote is all you need for everyday use.
Plus more. I really like the activity feature, which puts all the components in the right mode to work together. In fact, it does it even better than some OEM remotes for the individual components (namely, Sceptre TV). Probably, you will still need a remote for a few once-in-a-while setups (like VCR programming or Receiver field adjustment), but for regular activities this remote is all you need.
The only reason I would not give the unit a perfect rating is the web setup thing. I guess, it is the only right way to do it in general, but details arent that pretty.

Finally, I don't know if that was me, the remote, or what, but it didn't like the Duracell AAA cells. Probably, due to the shorter protrusion on the cell tip, the remote would loose contact and power off when the battery compartment lid is closed.
