This is a quick review of the Jensen Micro Home Hi-Fi System I recieved a few months ago as a gift.
I was sort of excited when I first saw it out of the box. Looks very sleek and impressive.
Then you pick it up and the first thing you notice is how lightweight and fragile it feels.
Simple to set up.
Just plug it in.
First thing I did was turn the radio on..I COULD NOT GET but one or TWO stations on this thing..no matter where I placed it in the house..I moved it everywhere. The antenna is a small wire. USELESS, unless you hang it on something or have someone hold it up. Very unsightly.
Next, I put in a CD. Just noticed that it seems robot like, the door opens, not real smooth. The volume is a Plastic knob. CD plays fine, just that over the past 10 years of having CD players, this is the worst sound I have ever had.
The speakers are UGLY and the front popped off one of them just from moving it.
The remote is a joke..Feel like this item was made for kids. I dont know of any adults that would use a remote for something of this poor quality.
Aside from playing CD's, My boombox, from 1980 did everything this item does AND..played 8-tracks...lol.
Not recommended at all.
