Pros: User friendly controls, nice looks, compact, innovative toaster combo
Cons: Toaster will not outlive microwave; can't use toaster and microwave at same time; only 900w
The Bottom Line: If you have a use for quick light duty toasting and want a compact unit, the LG toaster/microwave combo is for you.

| mp1515's Full Review: LG LTM9000 900 Watts Microwave Oven |
After 3 yrs of use, the toaster seems to have finally given out (maybe the heater element). But we have used the heck out of this innovative LG product. A stand-alone toaster would have seen little use by us versus the convenience LG has afforded with the LTM9000. The LTM9000 toaster is for light duty (i.e. heating up hot pockets and toast). It IS NOT intended for oversize food. It is much cleaner than a regular toaster, since a tray captures the crumbs instead of them falling to the bottom of the toaster or on your counter top. If you are a toaster snob who wants "uniform" heating, then get an oven-type toaster. Likewise, if you want "uniform" heating of your other food, don't use a microwave, use the oven! This toaster and microwave share the attribute of quick, but somewhat uneven, heating of food. The microwave part of the LTM9000 has been great. The dial timer is truly the best single part of the unit, just give it a spin to the right time and hit start. None of the junk of pressing 8-10 buttons before getting it to start. Just one button with the LTM9000. With as much use as we've gotten with it, I'd give it an A- and will probably by a replacement.
