Pros: Start up speed. Uses AA batteries. Looks Expensive but isnt.
Cons: Small screen size. Auto focus can be a bit slow.
The Bottom Line: Great size, quality, feature packed for the price. You will appreciate not having to carry a charger around!

| louisianadude's Full Review: Konica Minolta DiMAGE X20 Digital Camera |
The Minolta Name Brand is synonymous with quality camera optics so I felt pretty safe investing in this camera.
If you are looking for the following qualities, this camera is for you:
Uses AA batteries instead of proprietary rechargeables. Lithium rechargeable batteries may allow you to have a cool slim and trim camera, but they dont last long, trust me. You will find that the smaller the camera, the smaller capacity the rechareable battery is and over time that they hold their charge less and less. With this camera, you can replace the batteries anytime, anywhere in the world. Trust me, it makes a difference. And you don't have to carry a charger around everywhere you go and look for a 110 outlet. Its perfect for travel overseas where electric plugs are different. And if you are just a "die hard" fan of rechareables, then buy the Energizer AA rechargeable batteries. They come with a sleek little fold up charger that pugs directly into the wall, with no cables.
The start up/boot time on this camera is instant. Meaning..some digitals take a few seconds to turn on or off. This camera does so in 1 second. It fast. Also, many of the other cameras either had rotary dials that you twist to activate camera, video or play mode to turn the thing on. Or they have a manual sliding lens cover that turns it on. This model has a motorized lens cover and a simple on/off button so anybody can use it. Remember, you are not always the one taking the pictures. If you handed an average digital camera to your grandmother, could she turn it on? She can on this one.
The size of the camera is smaller than a pack of cigarettes or a flip phone. The accounts for the relatively small screen size. But its lightwieght and fits easily in the pocket.
