| kimbybean's Full Review: Mitsubishi VS-60805 60 in. TV |
I bought this rear projection television 6 months before my home theater was completed to assure that it would fit in the hole on the wall. I didn't want to build my theater and find out that the TV was discontinued! I have used this product for one year. Using an Onkyo TXDS777 Dolby Digital receiver/M&K speakers with this and recently purchased the SR-HD500 HDTV satellite receiver. I must say I never thought TV could look so good! The clarity of this picture can only be appreciated once you see it. This product DOES have front AV inputs which makes quick intermittent hook-ups (video camera, video games, etc.) a snap! When using the SR-HD500, 2 button presses switches between the HDTV and AV interface on the TV. This product also has 2 F-type antenna-in terminals and a loop out which is great for connecting a terrestrial antenna along with separate satellite/cable signals using F-type cables. Also, utilizing the RCA audio out, I am able to get the sound from local TV stations out to my receiver by utilizing the audio-out monitor. I do not utilize this TV's internal speakers however I have tested them and they sound pretty good. I am spoiled with my AC3 setup, so I am not the person to judge these speakers. Also, if someone is going to buy this TV for home theater enjoyment, you NEED a receiver that can process the sound. This actually adds to the enjoyment of this TV.
