dlysell's Full Review: PC Chips M811LU Motherboard
I recently purchased this board to use for my home server. On installing it I found that when you went into shut down that the board would not power down. The supplier promptly replaced the board, which not only had the same problem, but also had a bios error(would not go into instant off by power button) as well. I e-mailed PC Chips for support and was advised that I could call them , A long distance number, for support. having all ready spent half the price of the board on shipping back the first one, I felt that I could not throw away any money on long distance for a 25.00 board. Not only do I feel there is a problem with the board, but there is a major problem with the manufacture if that is the only support they can provide for their product. For that reason I would suggest all possible customers to consider the poor performance of this company on this instance, and buy another brand. I have since trashed the board and went to an ASUS brand product.
