r1xtc's Full Review: Hewlett Packard PhotoSmart 130 InkJet Printer
The HP 130 personal photo printer is an excellent performer in the low-priced peripheral market. Priced in the low to mid $100's, it has impressive print quality and speed, although the best quality photos from my 4.13 megapixel camera still show some grain. It's fairly quick. It gives you all the prints you want in less time than it takes to kill half of an hour in Walmart waiting for a roll of film to be developed, and you get to pick exactly what you want. The paper that HP makes for this works very well, although I have seen a small handful of paper jams for no apparent reason; hopefully these were isolated incidents. The one strange thing about this printer is that it will not accept the photo ink cartridge HP makes for the 7150 series printers. All in all, this is an excellent printer. It works fairly quietly, makes very nice quality prints of your favorite photo fare, and is capable of operating independent of your computer with it's available media card slots on the front panel.
