Pros: Mid-range price, high-end featureset.
Cons: Controls and setup a wee bit awkward.
The Bottom Line: For 250 bucks, you get superb sounding audio and all the features you could need for years to come.

| therealmach5's Full Review: Technics SA-DX950 5.1 Channels Receiver |
Technics has always been one of the best companies to turn to for high-middle-end audio equipment. The SA-DX950 is no exception.
Want to hook up a CD player? How about a tape deck? Phonograph? VCR? DVD player? Output from your computer to your stereo? All of the above? And at the same time? Not a problem. This receiver's got everything you need on the audio end, and even a couple video inputs and outputs for good measure.
But how's the quality? Exceptional, as always - Even when played through a set of 15 year old floor speakers the sound is crisp and clean.
I couldn't be happier with this unit, and I'm sure you'll feel the same way. It's the perfect start to your high-end component stereo system.
