Pros: The EQ, Clarity, Easy of Use, Reliability, Solid Build
Cons: Not made for subwoofers (duh, 40x4!)
The Bottom Line: Great For Full Range Speakers. Not for subwoofers but its not meant to be. Tunes perfectly and lets you adjust sound curve to its fullest... good job Sony

Spectacular Amplifier. Worked Great on my component set that demanded a 2 ohm load per channel and gave 80 watts per bridged channel beautifully @ 2 ohms. Tuned the full range component set perfectly, made them sound like a $1000 dollar set of speakers, not a $250 set. Sounded loud and clear.
I hooked this amp up to a pair of 10" subs, was very lacking in power... but it is made to be a full range speaker amplifier... not a subwoofer amplifier
Definetly not like other Sony car audio products. This product is impressive and i wouldnt mind owning it again in the future. The reason i sold it is because i was made an offer of well over what i payed for it... this happened after the person heard the amplifier in action ;)
