qualco99's Full Review: Sony DVP-CX985V Multi-disc DVD Player
My reviews are based on the feelings of past consumers who I have come into contact with regarding their systems. Being in the electronics industry, I am hopefully able to give you an accurate picture of the overall consumer feeling on the products I review
I believe Brevity is a virtue, so here is the grading-scale rundown on this product:
Aesthetic Appeal: (A+) This is a great looking machine. It is sleek and stylish, and fits anywhere. it is a little large, though.
Price: (A) The price is good considering the machine holds 400 discs, and plays all kinds of them too, SACD, great MP# capabilities. But if this is your first system, I'd go for a cheaper one, you won't miss much.
Setup:(B)Setup is usually fine, but no one I've heard from can seem to agree on whether it's a good or a terrible system. I've had some consumers absolutely thrilled with their system, and I've had some irate at how bad theirs was.
Ease of Use:It's a tossup. I personally have never had any problems with this system, but many I've heard from have.
Notes:I recommend this system, only because i haven't run into any crisis with it. But again, you might. it could be the luck of the draw. Maybe Sony struck out on this one, and made some good and some bad.
